The Alabama Brigade consists of the 15th Alabama Co E, the CSA Marines, 7th Kentucky, 10th Tenn Cav, and 8th FL Co C, vas well as a medical officer and chaplain. Membership in the 15th Alabama is open to all as we are a family oriented unit. While most of our members camp in the authentic camps and protray soldiers, we have a large number who portray civilians and many who enjoy the luxuries of modern camping at events. As we are a family oriented unit, we have members of all ages. Dues are $10 per family per season. We sponsor, with the city of Holly Hill, the Battle of Bishops Farm, which is scheduled next for March30-April 1 2001 at Holly Hill FL (near Daytona). We welcome both experienced reenactors as well as newbies; we encourage prospective members to try reenacting with us before diving headfirst into reenacting. (Se ARTICLES for commentary on reenacting). If you are interested in being part of our group, then EMail one of us or stop by our camp at any reenactment where we are present. We have a large Blue Flag with a single white star (The Bonnie Blue Flag) with ALA BRIGADE written on it. We will be happy to meet with you and answer any questions you might have.
